8 Modules will be covered: Polypharmacy, Continence, Delirium, Cognition, Falls & Bone Health which will bookended by The Fundamentals of Frailty and Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment respectively.

Falls Management - (Targaret Audience - Senior Healthcare Assistants, Nurses, CNMs & Managers)
Online Training, 9.30 a.m.—12.30 p.m., €5 p.p.
This programme is aimed at enabling participants screen and assess residents for risk of falling to develop person centred care plans to prevent falls and to respond appropriately when a resident falls in the centre. It includes assessment and care planning for residents at risk of falls as well as post falls assessments and care needs.
1. Identify residents at risk of falling.
2. Identify contributory factors to residents falling.
3. Identify evidence-based approaches to preventing falls.
4. Facilitate person-centred assessment and care planning to meet the needs and preferences of residents at risk of falling.
